Terms & Conditions

Group Sizes:
We have no minimum number of riders.

Weight limit:

Our maximum weight limit is 15 stone (210lb/95kg). If you are over the weight limit then please get in touch and let us know your height, weight and level of experience so we can see if there is a larger horse that may be suitable for you.

Group rate
The group rate is based on a minimum of 2 riders. If you are a single person booking any of our rides at our group rates, we will do our best to ensure we have other riders going out on the same dates as you however if we don’t, WE NEVER CANCEL A RIDE DUE TO LACK OF NUMBERS. However, if you are a single rider who has chosen the group rate, and there is no one else booked onto your ride, the single person will have to pay a single supplement to bring the price up to the single rider price as stated on each ride.

Payments:
All payments can be made by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or via wire transfer. To ensure financial security all payments are directed to an independent trust fund, in compliance with the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. Payments will be made to Northern Ireland Premier Tours, a trading name of Dalriada Tours Ltd, the licensed tour operator used by BEI.
A surcharge of 2% will apply to all card transactions to cover the transaction fees.

Booking Fees:
A 20% booking fee per rider is required to reserve a riding space on all riding holidays or single day rides. Booking fees and outstanding balances are due within 5 days of making a booking and no booking is secure until the booking fee has been received.
After we have received the booking fee, riders will receive an information packet with the following information: detailed information about the ride, Know- Before-You-Go Information, travel insurance information, and credit card receipt (if applicable).  Booking fees are not refundable.

Final Payment:
We will send an invoice for the final payment approximately 60 days before the ride begins with final payment due 8 weeks (56 days) before the ride date. For riders booking within 56 days of the departure date, deposits will be due within 5 days of booking and final payment within 12 days of booking. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for which payment is not received by the due date.

Prices:
The prices listed are in GP Sterling (£), all payments in other currencies will be valued according to the exchange rate on the day of that particular payment.
Prices are based on double occupancy. Should riders want their own room, we can happily accommodate with a small supplement charge (This is stated below each ride)

Date Change:
Once a rider is confirmed, changes are only possible if the adjustment does not cause extra costs or hardship to other parties. The fee is £100 per person to change date. And may be subject to additional necessary charges.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable or transferable. We will refund 50% of the final payment if notice is given 31 days or more before the trip begins. No refund will be given for cancellations by the client 30 days or under from the beginning of the trip.

Cancellations:
All trekking holidays are subject to availability. Although it is an extremely rare scenario, Bespoke Equestrian Ireland reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule any trek. In the event a cancellation is made by Bespoke Equestrian Ireland, all deposits and monies paid will be refunded in full. Bespoke Equestrian Ireland accepts no liability for any costs incurred by the rider/client including travel arrangements made and paid for.

Non-rider Companions:
Non-rider companions are welcome on our riding holidays. The price and non-riding activities vary although deposit and payment conditions remain the same as for riding holidays. Check out our partner site, www.premierexperiencesni.com or call us for details and suggested itineraries.

Travel Insurance:
It is important to protect your trip investment. Unforeseen events such as flight delays, baggage loss, unexpected sickness or injury could impact travel plans. Bespoke Equestrian Ireland strongly recommends the purchase of a travel protection plan/travel insurance that provides coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay and more. Riders/Clients will be required to sign a waiver should they decline purchase of Travel Insurance.

Rider Information & Responsibility:
Riders will be required to sign a liability indemnity form prior to embarking on any ride, this will apply to non-riding aspects of the holiday too and to non-riders.
Riders are required to disclose accurate information about horse riding experience. The minimum required riding level for our advanced coastal rides is intermediate. Riders on these advanced rides must be confident and capable to control a forward going, fit horse in all paces (long stretches of rising trot, fast canters and gallops) in varied terrain and beaches, have a firm balanced seat and be able to ride for at least 4.5 hours per day.
Beginner riders or any riders who are unable for any reason to take part in the advanced rides will be accommodated where possible with alternative options suitable for their level of competence.
Riders will be assessed for their riding ability prior to trek departure. Bespoke Equestrian Ireland reserves the right to exclude a rider from a trek should they be deemed incapable of riding safely on the trek, risking themselves or other members of the group. A rider will be excluded from the riding trek for inability to ride according to the minimum required riding level. Should this occur, Bespoke Equestrian Ireland will try to arrange an alternate ride for the rider, but this is not guaranteed. We also reserve the right to change advertised riding locations for circumstances beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions or where we feel that riding at a certain area at a certain time of the year may put riders and the public at risk.
We reserve the right to refuse riding or other activities to those who management or leaders deem to exhibit behaviour that they believe will result in risk to themselves, others, staff or the horses. No refund will be available if a cancellation of the trip or exclusion from any or all activities is required due to this.
